"Birds On The Brain" are my favourite style of heads to make. Feeders and bird houses keep our yard a cheery cacophony, windows wide open from spring to fall to eavesdrop on flock conversations. Making new friends – I'm prepping sweet head pots to be available during the second week of the @under100artshow in #YYC Dec 11-14. More tiny vases are in the kiln. I snuck this one out of the kiln while it was far too hot, seething heat through my leather gloves. I couldn't wait. I wanted to see the beauty of this test glaze combination immediately. .I am happy with the results. This combo was never as beautiful on full sized ware. Miniature pot from the most recent batch. I'm very pleased with the delicious glaze on this baby..I recently returned from a wedding celebration which included a reunion of friends who have been spread about, coast to coast. I packed my pockets full of tiny vases and tiny dishes and tiny potion bottles, and gave them away with each hug.
